Let it Snow, Let us Code, Let it Snow!
The great thing about this snow storm is that we don't have to shovel the results!
This app was inspired by Daniel Shiffman's tutorial at The Coding Train. We simply added some controls to influence the snowfall mechanics and a button to toggle between snowflake sprites and simple 'dots.'
The canvas button lets you choose the background color. (Clicking the 'Canvas' label takes you back to the default blue background color).
We recently revisted this idea with Cozy Christmas Code! where we can compare/constrast random movements with Perlin Noise-driven and 'Brownian' motion.
