1. Notice that disks get smaller the farther they are away from the center of the canvas. Your math teacher would say that their diameters vary inversely to the distance of their center from the origin of the canvas (which is where the star is).
2. How an you compute that distance? And, exactly what is the idea of inverse proportion?
